St Paul's Church, Quarndon
St Paul's Quarndon shares William as our vicar with St Nick's. The parish covers an area of Allestree around Askerfield Avenue as well as the civil parish of Quarndon.
With the exception of the all-age service, worship is in a more traditional format than at St Nick's and is on the following pattern:
8.00 am
A quiet, said service of Holy Communion on the 2nd and 4th Sundays
10.00 am
The second Sunday of each month is usually all-age worship, whilst the 1st, 3rd and 5th Sundays are Holy Communion. On the 4th Sunday there is a Morning Worship service with a greater emphasis on teaching and praise followed by an optional prayer meeting from 11.30 to 12.00.
St Paul's is at the top of Quarndon village, next to the Curzon School, with whom we have close links.
Like St Nick's, friendship is valued highly at St Paul's and refreshments are available every Sunday after the 10.00 am service.
